With everyone’s attention spans and time to action things getting shorter, you need to capture people’s interest and convert that to an action as quickly as possible.

Here are several ways your company can create more effective calls to action increase traffic to your website and convert more followers into customers.

Let them get involved!

Everyone has opinion, so why not use this a marketing tool to get people to interact with your posts.

Of course, not everyone is going to agree with you or your customers, but managing this and responding at least can help the whole customer experience and feel you are ahead of the game as far as your social media goes.

Twitter and Facebook have a great little poll features which allows you to pose a question with a number of options that people can give you a straightforward answer and an option  to expand on their thought processes. These are great as they look different from standard posts and the results are published at the end which provide some strong content for free too.

So ask your customers to let you know how they feel.

  • What frustrates you the most about…
  • We have this new product coming online – would you buy it?….
  • What can we do to improve our customer service to you?…

Sharing – your trump card

Whether we love or hate social media constant changing algorithms, even we find it hard to keep up, we do know that one trump card we can use that should always make a difference, getting people to share your content!

Don’t be afraid to ask your audience to actively do this, but being creative is the key!

Consider the following sentences to use:

  • Do you agree with us? We hope so, then tell your friends…..
  • Let’s get behind this local campaign – lets spread the word…..
  • Love it, share it!……

Let’s educate

Social media needs to be social, not just as selling opportunity, so use your platforms to re engage and educate your followers. People are receptive to your information if they feel they have learned something and somehow it has benefited their day!

Use your blog to share your business experience and provide new and interesting information to your proposed audience.

So curating content and developing content that can provide new experiences for your customers should be part of your social media strategy, spell out what you want your viewers to do, visit your website, sign up for a newsletter, take advantage of an online promotion.
