I know it is nearly February, already but I just wanted to drop down a few words about what we are doing in 2019!
My first action, was to get rid of the flu but pleased to say I am now more or less fighting fit.
Catch Designs for 2019, has lots of exciting plans ahead and I plan to continue working with local small businesses and we were delighted to be selected to be part of Coventry University (based in Scarborough) Digital Advantage programme to help deliver social media training and 1-2-1 business mentoring to SME’s in North Yorkshire.
To complement the training I was involved in 2018, this is great opportunity to get businesses up to date with the existing platforms and their constant changes as well as providing tips and ticks to help your business to be effective as possible with your own social media.

So that’s the first of our news.
We are also delighted to have won a contract to build a new website with Great Ayton Parish Council to help promote and showcase the soon to be refurbished Captain Cook Memorial Garden in Great Ayton. This is an exciting project to be part of and our design work is now in full swing, we will look forward to sharing some screen grabs with you in the near future.
We have a number of other website projects in the pipeline with local and regional businesses, which is great and of course, we are also looking after all of the other websites we manage for our current clients.
In the later end of 2018 and already this year we have also been working with new businesses in developing brands and logos. I cannot stress enough how strongly I feel about the importance of a professional brand when starting out in business and luckily the majority of customers I work with have been convinced to think the same way! As Will Rodgers once said:
“You Never Get A Second Chance to Make a First Impression”
A new professional brand available to you is certainly the best way to get your customers attention and confirm to them you are the professional you are.
Additionally, an existing brand can sometimes also do with a little TLC, so if you are already in business, we can still give you a helping hand!
